In this reflective piece, Desiré Galvez, a second-grade teacher, invites classroom educators to engage in Muxerista spirit restoration and healing pedagogies. She asks educators to reflect on the question: How can I be a liberator in a system that I work within and that works within me? Desiré reflects on this question by sharing her own Muxerista journey into the classroom space.
