Abstract

This essay explores wealth reclamation as a Muxerista praxis for economic justice. It is grounded in lived experiences within the nonprofit industrial complex and its extractive systems. It traces a journey from spirit murder to collective healing and transformation. It introduces the concept of wealth reclamation and the Just Transition framework. It defines resource mobilization as a political practice rooted in community, care, and accountability. It calls for collective responsibility to transform the way resources flow and how economic justice is practiced. This essay offers a vision of a sustainable economy grounded in ancestral knowledge and community cultural wealth.
