AMAE Journal Moves from ASU to UTSA

During the fall 2014, the AMAE Journal moved from ASU (Arizona State University) to UTSA (The University of Texas at San Antonio)...

The Association of Mexican American Educators (AMAE) Journal transitioned to the University of Texas—San Antonio (UTSA) during the fall of 2014.  We would like to thank Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University for hosting the AMAE Journal since 2011.  Likewise, we would like to send our appreciation to the College of Education at UTSA for agreeing to support the AMAE Journal. We cannot think of a more appropriate higher education institution to continue supporting the important work of this journal.

Further, Dr. Patricia Sánchez, UTSA, will take on the role of AMAE Journal lead editor.  Please join us in congratulating Dr. Sánchez in this new role, who previously served as the Journal's Associate Editor for two years.  Dr. Sánchez is a recognized scholar and leader in the field of Mexican-American and Latina/o education, and under her leadership, we are confident that the AMAE Journal will continue to grow and make an impact in the field of Mexican-American and Latina/o education.

In addition, Dr. Oscar Jimenez-Castellanos will continue to serve as co-editor until December 31, 2014. Thus, we will be adding two associate editors to the editorial team, hopefully by January 2015. One of them will also be from UTSA (TBD).

Thank you for your continued support of the AMAE Journal.
